World Cup Starts And My Predictions

The world's greatest sporting event begins today. Each day I will make my predictions and post them, and as you all know....I'm always right and I dare some to prove me wrong!! See my predictions for today's matches after the jump.

Louis Vuitton x World Cup

Only Louis Vuitton could capitalize on the world's biggest event with this very limited WC trophy case. The case only goes to the winner, so no you can't have one. My money is on Spain, and I'm a Brasil fan.

USA World Cup 2010 Kit

Nike's USA 2010 WC kit resembles the ones from the 1950s. I've heard its somewhat of a tribute to the 1950s team that upset the England squad in the knockout stages that year. The jersey is made with recycled plastic and other eco-friendly materials and its supposed to be lighter. Its kind of plain/boring to me which mimics USA's style of play. I know....I was born in the states but I first enjoyed soccer when I saw Pele play and since then I've favored Brazil. Hate me or not, I staying true. I do wish Charlie Davies a speedy recovery, in hopes to be on the WC squad.....atleast he has "flare" in his play.
